Japan's Kuraray recently introduced a permanent deodorant fabric. The fabric is made of "ShinUp" polyester / nylon bicomponent fibers. This core is ordinary polyester fiber, sheath is a light deodorant nylon. It shows complex and long-lasting deodorant effect through chemical neutralization and photocatalysis. Since the photocatalytic action does not reach the point of saturation, it acts as long as there is a noxious gas present. It is smoke, sweat, decay smell, pet odor are effective, as long as 30% of this fiber fabric mixed with deodorant effect. This fabric can be used mainly in sportswear, hospitals or food processing garments.
